Something Beyond Mom
Where you can find space beyond being a Mom
Something Beyond Mom was created by two KW moms at a playdate who wanted more connection away from the park. We’ve grown a community of moms who value taking time for themselves and trying new things. We host monthly events that aim to make the most of your limited free time, without the mom guilt.

Galentine’s Day!
Coming soon…
You can put yourself first and cultivate more present and self-aware parenting….
…in fact, you show up as a better mom when you
prioritize your own needs and desires.
Have you ever found yourself so caught up in caring for everyone and everything else that you've lost sight of who you are beyond the label of "mom"? Maybe you hesitate when asked about your interests or hobbies, even though you have developed a whole set of skills… You can recite Goodnight Moon by memory, you can contort your body into the most advanced yoga positions while retrieving snacks on a long road trip, and you
know every dance move The Wiggles has to offer. And although you truly love being in your mom era, you sometimes miss the freedom of a life that existed before motherhood. If this sounds a little too familiar, you’re not alone. As a mom, the constant juggling of responsibilities can make it feel impossible to carve out time for yourself, or to pursue the interests that once brought you joy – let alone finding new ones. But I need you to know: You didn’t lose yourself in motherhood. You’re just redefining yourself along the way. I believe your responsibilities in motherhood don’t need to overshadow your responsibility to self. And I’m here to help you reclaim all the layers of who you are, so you can rediscover the passions and pursuits that bring you joy and fulfillment (even as you navigate the twists and turns of parenting).
